In the introduction, we have extracted twenty special outlines. See if you can write each one of those without too much hesitation. Remember: special outlines are rarely learned by looking at them on a page; they must be written if they are to be learned well.
In a typical examination there will be one list only, and a maximum of three items is usual. As I have said before, the recording of the list is crucial because it is unlikely that if you omit an item you will be able to remember it, as the context will not help in the same way as if you missed a phrase or word grouping, or even a single word. In this passage, there are no less than seven lists ranging from two items to five items. Test your concentration and see if you can record each and every item in all seven lists. There are at least ten special outlines included in the lists, as well as a large number of common words.
