This week's Reporting the Courts segment is entitled "A verdict of innocence." It continues the story started by Rosalie in "Police officer stands trial over police brutality."

This is a slightly more challenging 60 WPM mock as the material is higher in syllabic count than would be experienced in an actual examination. That said, there are loads of good outlines and groupings used so study it carefully.
Stay tuned as we will create a separate post for individual sentence revision as well as post the printed Teeline for working on your reading skills.
Note: There are two outlines highlighted below that are from the mock. Firstly, "proof required" is noteworthy as you can use the "R" intersection with a word to denote "require or required." An intersection simply means a stroke written through an outline that represents a whole word. The R intersection was also used in the 100 WPM - “Secretary welcomes attendees at the annual general meeting of society” mock. Secondly, "establish" is a special outline.
Note the Top 1000 NGSL words make up only 68% of this mock examination. Another 33 words from the Top 2000 list bring it up to almost 82%.
