Reporting the Courts is a new series from Let's Love Teeline Together and can be accessed from the "Revision" menu on our website.
Journalists often go to court to report on cases being heard and will use notes made to ensure their reports are accurate. A newspaper will use the notes as evidence they took care to make sure the article was correct.
A precise Teeline note is, therefore, critical.
To kick off the new series, Rosalie has prepared a full Zoom presentation entitled "Man Stands Trial Following Evidence of Drug Dealing."
Prior to the four minute 90 WPM passage, she begins with a discussion of the words and groupings that are included. If you prefer to take the dictation straight away, the audio can be found on our SoundCloud page here: Drug Dealer Targets Teenagers.
After the dictation, Rosalie then discusses and presents all outlines in full.
This Teeline shorthand master class aims to give you an experience of "reporting the courts" and is a great way to build your speed and stamina as well as allowing you to brush up on important shorthand revision.
You can find a growing collection of Reporting the Courts posts on the LLTT Blog.
